Great Grandma’s Country White Bread
Makes 2-3 loaves
Ingredients:
1 TBS. sugar
1 TBS. yeast
2 c. warm water, divided
2 tsp. salt
3 TBS. margarine
7-8 c. flour, divided
What to Do:
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, yeast and 1/4 c. warm water. Let stand 5-10 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix 1 c. flour, salt, margarine, and 3/4 c. warm water; add to the yeast and mix well.
Stir in the remaining 1 c. water with 4-5 c. of flour (stirring vigorously) or enough flour so that the dough forms into a ball.
Sponge rise until dough is doubled in size.
Turn onto a floured surface and knead 5-10 minutes, adding additional flour as needed.
Place in a bowl and let rise until double.
Punch down and shape into 2 or 3 loaves. Place in loaf pans. Let rise until double. Bake at 375* for 30-35 min. Enjoy!

Bethy's Breakfast Burritos
Bethy’s Breakfast Burritos
Makes 7 unless you fill your tortillas really full
2 strips of bacon cut into smallish pieces
8 eggs
a bunch of salsa
7 small tortillas
dallopes of sour cream (two for each burrito)
Fry the bacon. Add the eggs and scramble. When the eggs are done frying, put in salsa to taste. Fill your tortillas with the eggs, and put two dallopes of sour cream on each. Enjoy!
